RULES OF THE GAME

The purpose of these regulations is to clearly establish the relationship between the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis and its members.

  • Article 1: Principle
The aims of these rules are to promote tennis, create a sporting atmosphere and satisfy all the club’s members. Their purpose is to ensure that activities run as smoothly as possible within the club, by ensuring respect for the facilities and between members.
  • Article 2: Members and non-members
To become a member of TC Ch-de-B., with all the rights and obligations set out in the club’s statutes, a person must pay an entry fee, payable in the first year, and an annual membership fee.
The subscription runs for twelve months.
Anyone wishing to join the tennis school must first become a member of TC Ch-de-B.
Use of the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis courts is open to non-members, either at the invitation of a member for a fee of 20 Frs/hour, or by booking online at 45 Frs/hour. Adult members have 10 invitations per year, while juniors have 5. They are payable in advance and valid for an unlimited period.
Membership may be cancelled at the end of a sporting season, subject to one month’s notice. Cancellations must be sent in writing to TC Ch-de-B.
If no cancellation is received within the required time, the membership will be tacitly renewed for a further period of the same length.
The membership fees and the file-opening charges, payable in advance and non-refundable, are definitively due to Tennis Club Ch-de-B. even in the event of early cancellation.
Children entering their 7th year become members and must pay the membership fee from 1 January of that year.
  • Article 3: Opening of the facilities
The committee decides the club’s opening and closing hours.
    Opening 7:15 a.m. and closing 10:15 p.m.
  • Article 4: Booking the tennis courts
All bookings are made online, from home or on site.
Certain time slots are reserved exclusively for adults or for juniors. The committee reserves the right to book:
    Juniors: 4 courts Monday to Friday from 4:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 1:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
    Adults: 4 courts Monday to Friday from 7:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
This principle does not apply during the Canton of Vaud school holidays, when training camps are organised for adults and juniors.
In accordance with Article 1, paragraph 1, the committee reserves the right to book the entire facility for sporting events of the club and the hotel.
Members may book up to 7 days in advance, 3 times per week. From a capacity of 300 members: 7 days in advance, twice per week.
When courts are available, members on site are welcome to play.

In the event of an injury lasting four weeks or more, on presentation of a medical certificate, the missed period is refunded as a credit. The committee reserves the right to amend these rules at any time, with immediate effect.
