The characteristics of Padel
Padel is a variant of tennis, played on a smaller court enclosed by walls and fences.
Padel is a variant of tennis, played on a smaller court enclosed by walls and fences.
The court measures 20 m long and 10 m wide (compared with 23.77 m long and 10.97 m wide for a doubles tennis court).
Its main difference from tennis lies in the ability to bounce the ball off the walls or fences, drawing inspiration from squash. As for equipment, padel players use stringless rackets and balls slightly smaller than tennis balls.

How do you play Padel?
The rules are simple: the team that wins 2 sets wins the match. To win a set, a team must win 6 games with a 2-game lead.
To start a point, the server stands behind the service line and serves diagonally into the opposite box.
The serve must be played gently, with the ball struck no higher than waist height.
The opposing team’s players are free to choose their position on the court.
During a rally, once it has hit the ground, the ball may rebound off any surface as many times as needed (except the ground). When it touches the ground a second time, the returning team loses the point.
The scoring system is the same as in tennis:
Love: No point
15: First point
30: Second point
40: Third point
Game: Fourth point
Jonas Meinecke (Swiss No. 5), Kilian Jordan (Swiss No. 2) and Cédric Richard will be your coaches!
