Tennis is a game, and we lead children, whatever their level, to play points and become a real tennis player.
The game is:
-
fun
-
performance
-
progress
Jonas Svensson is in charge of the junior tennis school.
The junior school is very successful and offers many junior group lessons for all levels, from beginner to competition player.
To join the junior school, Jonas gives the child a test to assess their level and place them as well as possible in a lesson that suits them…
The only condition for joining the tennis school is to be a member of the Club.
It is possible to join the lessons mid-term.

VISION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE JUNIOR TENNIS SCHOOL
JoTo is a professional structure geared towards high-level competitive tennis in a family setting, in order to foster the player’s sporting and personal development (educational value). This vision takes shape in several ways:
- The content:
Annual courses following the school rhythm, various camps during the holidays and on public holidays, supervised delegations to competitions, internal and official tournaments, an international meeting on the club grounds, interclub matches, interactive activities between adults and children, “free” practice matches on Saturday mornings, and parent-pupil-coach meetings. The varied calendar offers pupils activities outside their lessons to build stronger motivation and a healthy competitive spirit. - The quality of teaching:
The success of the tennis school rests on the coaches’ abilities, but above all on their commitment and motivation. Teaching is planned with programmes and objectives set in advance and followed by all our coaches. They are adapted and set for every category of lesson, from mini-tennis to adults, including competition. The summer camps work the same way. For continuous development and better cohesion among the coaches, weekly “workshops” are organised. - The setting:
We believe that a high-performing tennis school develops within a decisive environment: the club. That is why, keen not to separate these two elements and to our great delight, we were quick to found the Tennis Club Chavannes-de-Bogis, where children and adults mix in interactive activities (see calendar). Within this social setting, we encourage our players to play one another in order to develop the enjoyment of the game, self-knowledge and independence. The player applies what they have learned during lessons and expresses themselves on the court without educational constraints. - The common thread:
The school is structured this way for one single purpose: to introduce the pupil to the game of tennis and lead them, step by step, to the pleasure of competition. - The objective:
We do everything we can so that our pupils can make full use of their potential through tennis coaching.
SCHOOL PROGRAMME
Joto Tennis’s teaching is carefully planned.
This method makes the coaches’ work easier, as they each choose different exercises suited to their personality and to the level of their groups, but with a common objective.
By giving the coach structure, this method strengthens their creativity, encourages teamwork and allows Joto Tennis to indirectly track each pupil’s progress.
