PRICES & RULES

Rates vary according to the different categories:

  • Adults : 785 Frs + entry fee 200 Frs (x1)
  • 1 parent with child : 755 Frs + entry fee 200 Frs (x1)
  • 2 parents with children : 700 Frs + entry fee 200 Frs (x1)
  • Couples : 720 Frs + entry fee  200 Frs (x1)
  • Young people from 19-25 years : 565 Frs + 200 Frs (x1)

Upon registration, the adult player receives a welcome gift that includes a 45 minute private lesson, 2 non member invitations and 2 group lessons in the Adult Tennis School.

 

  • Juniors from 7 to 13 years : 295 Frs + Entry Fee 150 Frs (x1)
  • Juniors from 14-18 years : 395 Frs + entry Fee 200 Frs (x1)
We want every player to feel welcome in the club, and that every member of JoTo Tennis enjoys playing in a warm, calm and above all sporty atmosphere.

RULES OF THE GAME

The purpose of these regulations is to clearly establish the relationship between the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis and its members.

  • Article 1:  Principle

The objectives of these regulations are to promote tennis, create a sporting atmosphere and satisfy all members of the Club.  The purpose of the rules is to ensure the best possible conduct of activities within the Club by guaranteeing respect for the facilities and members towards each other. 

  • Article 2:  Membership

To become a member of TC Chavannes-de-Bogis, with all the rights and obligations described in the Club’s statutes, the person must pay an entrance fee, payable in the first year and an annual membership fee.

The duration of the subscription is twelve months membership.

A person who wants to become part of the Tennis School, must first become a member of TC Chavannes-de-Bogis.  Only members of the Club are allowed to use the tennis courts of TC Chavannes-de-Bogis.

The use of the courts of the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis is not allowed to non-members, except at the invitation of a member and for a remuneration of 20Frs/hour.  Adult members have 10 invitations per year, whilst Juniors have 5.  They are payable in advance and valid for an unlimited period.

Membership can be cancelled for the end of a sports season, respecting a notice period of one month.  Terminations must be sent in writing to TC Chavannes-de-Bogis.

In the absence of written termination within the time limits, the contracted membership will be automatically renewed for a period of the same duration.

The membership prices and the application opening fees, payable in advance are non- refundable, and are definitively required at the Tennis Club Chavannes-de-Bogis even in the event of early termination.

Children entering their 7th year of age and becoming members must pay the membership fee from 1 January of that year.

  • Article 3:  Opening of Facilities

The Committee decides on the opening and closing hours of the Club.

Opening 7.15am and closing 10.15pm

  • Article 4:  Reservation of tennis courts

All reservations are made via the Internet at home or on site.

Some time slots are made exclusively for adults or juniors: 

 The Committee reserves the right to book:  Juniors 4 courts from Monday to Friday from 15.45 to 19.15 pm and Wednesday from 12.45 to 19.15pm:  Adults:  4 courts from Monday to Friday from 19.15 to 22.15pm.

This principle does not apply during the school holidays of the Canton of Vaud when training camps are organised for both adults and juniors.

In Accordance with Article 1, Paragraph 1, the Committee reserves the right to reserve the entire infrastructure for sporting events of the Club and the Hotel.

Members have the right to book up to 7 days in advance 3 times per week.  With a capacity of 350 members,  depending on the availability of the courts, members have the right to play.

  • Article 5:  Safety

Cycling, skateboarding and scooters are prohibited in the Clubhouse, on the tennis courts both in the central outdoor court and covered infrastructure.

Within the Club grounds, children are placed under the responsibility and supervision of their parents, unless they are ‘on court’ with a JoTo tennis coach.

Smoking is not allowed in the Clubhouse or in the covered infrastructure.

The Club declines all responsibility in the event of an accident resulting from improper use of the facilities, non-compliance with safety rules and training plans.

  • Article 7:  Values

The Club declines all responsibility in the event of theft or deterioration within the club premises/grounds.

  • Article 8:  Compliance with the Rules

The Club Committee reserves the right to refuse access to the Club and its facilities to any person whose behaviour is considered inappropriate. 

  • Article 9:  Parking

The parking spaces of the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis are reserved for the vehicles of members, guests and accompanying adults.  It is forbidden to park in the other parking spaces of the hotel.

It is forbidden to leave vehicles in the car park, which is reserved for the TC Chavannes de-Bogis when the Club is closed.   The Club reserves the right to remove any unauthorised vehicle at the expense of its owner.

  • Article 10:  Responsibility & Suggestions

The Club declines responsibility in the event of an accident within the club premises/ grounds, including the car park.

Members are invited to submit their views and suggestions, which they may also send in writing to the Committee.

  • Article 11: Scope of rules – amendments

These rules are applicable from the opening of the club’s activities.  It replaces any regulations formerly in force.

The Committee reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time and with immediate effect.

Changes are communicated to members by ‘notice’ at the Club or, if the Committee deems it more important, by written communication to members.

By joining the Club, the member accepts the content of these Rules as well as any subsequent modification.

  • Article 12:  Rights by Law & Forum

The legal relationship between the Club and its members is subject to Swiss Law.

The place of jurisdiction is the TC Chavannes-de-Bogis.
