1989: At the end of June, victim of a car accident in Clermont Ferrant during a tournament. 36 days in a coma having sustained a head injury with the possibility of paralysis and lifelong disability. Began rehabilitation at home with his brother (and trainer) and his family.
1990: Organisation of exhibition for victims of ‘head trauma’ in Hambourg with amongst others Boris Becker
1991: December: Departure for France to St Sauveur de Landemont to manage a Hotel-Restaurant, the castle of Colaissiére
1992: Marriage to Céline Cohen
1997: Coach for Swiss Tennis (until 2001). Trainer at the ‘Open Club’ Bellevue, for Stéphane Bohli, Versoix, who won the Junior World Championships (Orange Bowl)
1998: Successfully achieved the Coaching Diploma C and B in Germany (best grade in practice). Coach of young players for National and International delegations.
1999: First edition of ‘Aidons à aider’ (Let’s help to help) – an exhibition in favour of victims in the Balkans with participation of amongst others, Rosset. Graduation ‘Youth & Sport’ 1, 2 and 3 in Switzerland. Coach of Orline Stanoytchev (Bulgaria) who became 96th in the world (ATP). Coach and organiser of National and International delegations for young players.
2000: Second ‘Let’s Help to Help’ with amongst others, Forget and Jonas Svensson. Obtained training Diploma B Swiss (best in practice). Coach of Women’s League A Team Drizia- Miremont (Ge) Swiss Champion. Coach for National & International young players. Organiser of Junior Multisport Tournament, Hambourg.
2001: Obtained Coach Diploma A in Macolin
2003: Head of Tennis School Geneva Country Club with Jonas Svensson. Resignation from Country Club.
2004: Obtained the Diploma of ‘Director of the Swiss Tennis Tournament’ in Bern
2005: Director of the company JoTo Tennis and the tennis school of the same name. Founder of the Tennis Club Chavannes de Bogis.
